HB-1018 – Adding fusion energy to facilities that may obtain site certification for the purposes of chapter 80.50 RCW. Environment, Energy & Technology Executive Session hearing. This bill was able to skip a public hearing in the Senate due to rule 49.
SB-5000 – Adopting the evergreen state as the state nickname. House Committee on State Government & Tribal Relations hearing. This bill keeps cruising through the legislative process with an Executive Session scheduled for March 21st.
SB-5123 – Expanding protections for certain students to promote inclusivity in public schools. A very interesting hearing took place on March 17th in the House Committee on Education. Oly Insider was there to cover the complicated issue.
