EP-01 Season Two – Preview of Wa Leg 2026
Erica Engelhart and Jay Fratt return to the Positive Intentions Media studio in Olympia, Washington to cover the 2026 Washington State Legislative Session.
Representative Matt Marshall (R) from the 2nd Legislative District joined Oly Insider to answer a couple questions about what to expect from the 2026 legislative session.

- Requiring hospitals to offer immunizations for influenza in certain cases.
- HB-2096 & SB-5829 Agency Request Bills by Attorney General Office
- Addressing the issuance of confidential identification to investigators employed by the office of the attorney general.
- HB-2156 Agency Request Bill by Attorney General Office
- Concerning the authority of investigators of the attorney general’s office.
- HB-2100 – Enacting an excise tax on large operating companies on the amount of payroll expenses above the minimum wage threshold of the additional Medicare tax to fund services to benefit Washingtonians and establishing the Well Washington fund account.
- HB-2123 – Concerning foreign national participation in Washington state elections.
- SB-5926 – AN ACT Relating to expanding the public records exemption for personal information of family home child care providers to all licensed or certified child care providers.
