But the tag team duo of Erica Engelhart and Jay Fratt are back in the Positive Intentions Media studio located in Olympia Washington this week to cover SB-5098, which made it through the Senate Law and Justice Committee to the Ways and Means Committee, where it go side tracked to the Transportation Committee, and we find ourselves today.
Sometimes a bill takes an adventurous route to the floor. This bill is well traveled.
SB-5098 – Prohibits weapons at certain park facilities where children are likely to
be present, certain state or local public buildings, and county fairs when
the fair is open to the public. Requires facilities where weapons are prohibited to, as soon as
practicable, post signage at common public access points alerting the
public to the prohibitions.
